Marc Gowland

As Executive Creative Technology Director at Deutsch, Marc oversees the technical delivery of all digital experiences for clients including VW, Target and Taco Bell.  He brings more than 15 years of digital experience to the agency, including technical architecture, data management and software development.  Marc is one of the founders of Great Machine, Deutsch’s Artificial Intelligence division dedicated to bringing creativity to AI.

Prior to joining Deutsch, Marc founded Dustland, a production-focused digital agency where he created digital experiences for brands including HBO’s Game of Thrones, Honda Power-sports and Cisco.  While at Dustland, Marc served as the Chief Technology Officer, overseeing sales and marketing of the company while growing it to 35 employees over two continents in four years.

Marc got his start as a Senior Web Developer at Fallon in Minneapolis, MN where he worked on BMW, International Trucks, and The Islands of the Bahamas.   He also served as Director of Technology at Carmichael Lynch where he led digital efforts for Porsche, Harley Davidson and American Standard.
