Steve began his career as an art director at CP+B in Miami. He spent the ensuing years developing his nontraditional approach to advertising at agencies including Roche Macaulay & Partners in Toronto, Leagas Delaney, Goodby Silverstein & Partners, and BSSP. Steve has won numerous awards for his work with clients such as Adidas, eBay, Ace Hardware, Netflix, Specialized, Priceline, MINI Cooper, and IKEA (for whom he garnered the Grand Clio and Grand Prix at Cannes for “Lamp,” a commercial directed by Spike Jonze).
Steve made the leap to directing with a spot for MINI called “Ahhhhhh!” He joined Tool in 2015 and continues to hone his craft. Steve’s recent accomplishments include spots for Reliant (Innocean Worldwide), PlayStation Vue (Venables Bell & Partners), Amazon (Camp+King) and a VR campaign for Infiniti (Crispin Porter + Bogusky), which was shortlisted at Ciclope for Digital in the Mobile App category, and was also selected as the FWA Mobile of the Day.
