Charles Duncan, is a award winning advertising technology executive with a passion for the intersection of creativity and technology. As SVP Director of Technology at Leo Burnett he leads a team of: developers, technologist and experience designers for some of America’s most iconic brands including: Samsung, McDonalds, Intel and Allstate.
Before joining Leo Burnett, Charles was Director of Technology at Wieden + Kennedy where he led the development team in the creation of digital experiences for: Nike, ESPN and Heineken.
Prior to Wieden he was the Director of Technology at VML where his teams built enterprise and product based experiences. During his tenure, he created the agency’s first lab group focusing on brand driven R&D.
Charles started his career at R/GA and AKQA both of which he was the technical lead on their respective Nike accounts. During this time he would create some of the most iconic web experiences of the time.
A recognized innovator in the industry, Charles has been the recipient of numerous awards including: One Show, Cannes and The Clios. As a thought leader, he's spoken at numerous conferences including SXSW and been published in the field of mobility.
